Type a set of letters and get every word your language dictionary can build from them, longest first. Turn on the shorter words to see every sub-anagram grouped by word length, from seven letters down to two. Sixty-one languages behind one picker, everything computed on your device — nothing is uploaded, nothing is stored.
It solves single words. Multi-word phrases that consume the whole pool are a much larger search problem and are out of scope here. Each letter is used only as many times as you type it, so there are no blanks or wildcards: type a letter twice to allow it twice.
No. The word list is downloaded to the browser tab, the index is built in the tab, and every search runs there. Letters, results and history never leave the device: there is no account, no server-side log and no stored history.
The English list holds 172,823 words and the sixty-one lists together are 98.9 MB, from 54 KB for Breton to 7.2 MB for Malayalam. English, the usual case, is 1.7 MB and is downloaded once, then reused for every search in the same session.
An exact anagram uses every letter of your pool with the same letter counts, so listen gives silent, enlist, tinsel, inlets, elints and listen itself. A sub-anagram uses part of the pool: with shorter words on, the same six letters return ninety words in total, thirty-two of them four letters long.
Sixty-one, English by default, and each one is a separate word list rather than a translation of the interface. The picker is alphabetical and covers Latin, Cyrillic, Greek, Arabic, Hebrew, Devanagari, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Thai, Japanese, Korean and more. Typing Cyrillic letters while an English dictionary is selected returns nothing, so match the list to the puzzle.
